I'm about 13 hours in and this just might be favorite Soulslike universe so far, the lovecraftian / gothic art-design is something I can't ever get enough of and this game is evidently full of it. I disliked it for crappy frame pacing during my first hour, but now it disappeared entirely, running at rock-solid 30fps: I don't know what happened or if it was my TV playing tricks on me, but the game finally ended up being playable on my end. My internet hasn't worked for days (thanks to my shitty provider, on that note) and that was pretty much the reason I've picked that up again. Things have gotten easier after E1 and I keep getting better at dealing with cultists, but knowing there might be more levels with water fills me with dread as these can be too clunky to work with and one single swimming cultist can quickly turn into the most lethal adversary.

My 100% Extra Crispy Pitchfork Start challenge continues and I'm at the halfway point of E3, this game really doesn't give a fuck and presents a new challenge in every level. Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars - Director's CutĪ revamp of a late 90's point & click classic, 6 hours in I've learned it's the inferior version with some of the content removed but since I've been quite pleased with everything I've seen so far, I'll complete this version and see how much better the original fares in comparison, it's included as a free DLC in the Steam version and it shouldn't take long as I'll be familiar with most of the puzzles.
